So far, my ProTac 2AA Flashlight has proved to be very enduring. If the head was adjustable, the waterproofness might be compromised over time – this is what I learned from my experience owning various flashlights. The beam is not adjustable, but that is not necessarily a bad thing. The central beam is narrow and concentrated, but some light does “spill over” and illuminate the area near you. If you need softer light or more running time, switch to the low setting that provides light for up to 43 hours. The highest setting produces the brightest light and longest beam – both admirable for such a small AA flashlight. The 10-tap programming you use to switch between programs and settings is easy to master, but you can always learn more about it by reading the user manual.
